RICHMOND, Ky. - The Eastern Kentucky University baseball game scheduled
for today at the University of Louisville has been rained out and has been
rescheduled for Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Also the game against Marshall University
originally scheduled for Wednesday at Huntington, WV will now be played
here in Richmond at 3:00 p.m. Marshall's field is currently unplayable
and this caused the rescheduling. The game originally scheduled for May
5 here at EKU will now be at Marshall. Pitching Wednesday's game against
the Thundering Herd will be senior Eric Bess. The Colonels are 7-7 on the
season and are coming off a 2-2 record at the Winthrop Stateline Classic.
