RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University baseball coach Jim Ward has announced the signing of Justin Dungan, 6-5, 190-pound righthanded pitcher from Pulaski Southwestern High School, to a national letter-of-intent.

Dungan was 13-5 this past year and pitched 111 innings, striking out 131 and compiling an ERA of 1.52.

"Justin has a bright future in baseball," said Ward. "His size and arm strength project him as an outstanding Division I pitcher. We are proud Justin selected EKU after receiving several other scholarship offers from Division I programs."

He is the son of Jeff Dungan and Rhonda Munsey and lives in Monticello, KY.
